LeagueFrenzy vs FantasyPros
FantasyPros is the best-known name in fantasy rankings: Expert Consensus Rankings drawn from analysts across the industry, the Draft Wizard tool suite, and a league sync that reaches more hosts than ours does. LeagueFrenzy is one projection engine rather than an average of many opinions — it prices your league’s own replacement level from its own scoring rules, and it publishes the backtest so the accuracy claim is something you can read rather than something you take on trust.
Works with MFL, Sleeper, Fleaflicker & ESPN (advanced setup) — Yahoo coming soon
Which one is for you
The usual argument on these pages does not apply here, so we are not making it: FantasyPros syncs leagues too, from more platforms than we support. The real choice is what you want a ranking to be made of. They aggregate the industry’s experts into a consensus and score which of those experts came closest; we run a single engine against your league’s replacement level and publish how it did, including the parts that did not work.
FantasyPros vs. LeagueFrenzy
| FantasyPros | LeagueFrenzy | |
|---|---|---|
| What the ranking is made of | Expert Consensus Rankings. Their About page describes FantasyPros as having “aggregated and rated fantasy sports expert advice from around the web”, consolidated into one number. | One projection engine, priced against the replacement level of your league’s own roster slots and scoring — not an average of opinions. |
| Accuracy evidence | They measure which experts are most accurate — an “innovative system that analyzes millions of their player predictions”, published as an expert-accuracy leaderboard. | A projection backtest over eight seasons with four holdout years, reported by position, with the experiments that failed left in. |
| League sync | Broader than ours. Draft Wizard syncs your league, and the hosts listed on 2026-08-23 included Yahoo, ESPN, Sleeper, NFL.com, CBS Sports, MyFantasyLeague, FFPC, Fantrax and RTSports. | MFL, Sleeper, Fleaflicker or ESPN — four hosts, fewer than theirs. Scoring rules, roster slots, IDP tackle weights and bonuses come across as they are. |
| Leagues covered | Each plan caps how many leagues you can sync per sport, and the cap rises with the tier. Check their plans page for the current numbers. | Unlimited leagues on one Season Pass; each gets its own board built from its own rules. |
| Scope and scale | Far larger than us: four sports, a daily-fantasy section, mobile apps, and a Draft Wizard suite spanning the Draft Simulator, live Draft Assistant, Cheat Sheet Creator, Draft Analyzer and salary-cap tools — behind an audience they put at 38 million annual visitors. | One NFL engine. One engineer, no user count to quote, and the method published so you can judge it without one. |
| Price | Three subscription tiers billed monthly or annually, the entry annual tier above our Season Pass. Their plans page has the current figures. | $0 for a one-league top-20 preview with no account, or $39.99/year for unlimited leagues. |
The short version
Pick FantasyPros if…
- Your league is hosted somewhere we do not read — CBS Sports, Fantrax, FFPC, NFL.com, RTSports, or Yahoo, which is still coming soon here — because their sync reaches every one of those today.
- You want a live in-draft assistant, mock drafts against your own settings, or the rest of the Draft Wizard suite.
- You play more than football, or you want their daily-fantasy and mobile products alongside it.
- A consensus of many analysts, scored on which of them has been most accurate, is the evidence you find most convincing.
Pick LeagueFrenzy if…
- You would rather read one engine’s published backtest than take an average of expert opinions.
- Your league scores real tackles, sacks and passes defended — IDP replacement level on your actual weights is the case this engine was built around.
- You play in more leagues than a plan tier will sync, and want every one of them on one pass.
- You want a board on your league’s real scoring for less than the entry tier of a full fantasy subscription.
Draft like your league actually scores.
