What dynasty ranks mean here

A dynasty rank is surplus across seasons, not a different scoring table. IDP, superflex, and TE premium still reshape the board as format settings. Dynasty changes the window those settings are valued over.

Multi-year surplus, not this-season points

VORP-D (dynasty) is the same replacement baseline as a redraft board, summed over a multi-year horizon with a per-season discount. It answers who is worth more across the window, not who should start this week.

Age-based development curves

On a dynasty horizon, multi-year value over replacement applies an age-based development shape: young players ramp, peak by position, then decline. That is a horizon effect, not a scoring-rule tweak.

Year zero matches today

Year zero matches the current projection. Missing ages degrade safely rather than inventing a curve. Rookie priors still keep draft-capital and college production on the projection side and market hype in the market term.

How they differ from redraft ADP

Average draft position is a one-season market. Dynasty is a horizon. Scoring toggles — IDP, superflex, TE premium, half-PPR, standard — still live on the format cluster. This page is the horizon explanation, not another format-delta table.
